Have anyone of you experienced sudden Nose Bleeding in your Pet Dog? How did you dealt with it?

One of the first glance on the title might give a though to many of the readers, but yes, it is true that Dogs tend to have nose bleeds in extreme weather. My experience for the first time was of my pet dog Meeshka, a cross of German Shepherd and Rottweiler. She was only 2years of age, when I noticed that she started to have nose bleeding and that too a lot. It was a first time experience and for me to handle the dog was important as she was panicking as to asking, what is happening to her.

Points to Note:

1-Pour ice cold water on her head. Start massaging her with cold water,

2-Give your pet light meals to eat. A big proportion of water with milk would do better,

3-Get in touch with your vet, so he can guide you asap

4- You don’t need to panic, as the animals also feel extreme weather and it is the same just like ours to deal with.

Earlier, I repeated the practice of cleaning her nose and placing cold water on her head to cool her down, but later I was told that the weather of my Country is not suitable for a Icelandic Animal. Therefore, it is very important to find out the cause of your animal to fall sick. Not always, all the medications would affect but yes, it does makes a difference if you act accordingly.
