Ear Infection In Pets

With the passage of time, just like the increase in population, the illness has taken different forms. We at times are unable to or are unaware of identifying the problems which intend to occur in our dear friends.

Ear infection occurs in pets and are to be treated on time before they take any other horrible form of illness. It is not a sickness as it can be treated but, if treated on time, it will heal and if it doesn’t then it might be life threatening. Otitis externa is commonly known as ear infection and it is a inflammation of the ear canal. It can be caused by parasites, yeast or a bacterial infection. This is basically the top claims for canine and it has turned out to be the highest claim as submitted by the dog owners.

Symptoms of ear infection:

  • Shaking of the pet’s head
  • Reddening or thick and scale skin around the ear
  • Abnormal discharge / bad odor from the ear
  • Ear dropped

Dog parents who believe that their pets have an ear infection should immediately visit the Vet for a thorough physical examination. The Vet then shall after conduction a check-up shall advise the treatment of pet’s Otitis external. You shouldn’t worry as it can be treated by proper cleaning and by following a course of medication through either ear drops, antibiotics, ointments.

Suggestion:

No matter if you are not a Vet, but you are a Pet Parent and as a responsible parent you need to be careful what treatment and examination is being conducted by the Vet. You shouldn’t hesitate in asking any questions about any treatment or query that you have for your pet. Always remember, it is you who is close to your pet and only your love an affection with proper medication and care can help your pet to recover from any illness

The Guarding Pet

It’s the first day of the week with so much to get done with. As usual, before leaving home I said goodbye to my Diesel and Tiger, so that they know that I will be home after couple of hours. (I know- most of the pet parents do talk to their fur babies which people who don’t own pets, can’t relate to but that’s totally okay).

Upon my arrival after sunset, as soon as my car reached at the main gate of the house- I saw a glimpse of “ears” popping up in the sky. Upon keeping my focus on the ears, I suddenly got to see Tiger’s head and there he was spotted sitting in his usual pose.

I couldn’t resist myself to not to click the picture of this little cutie. I am so amazed the way these fur babies turn our tiring day into a happy day, where we forget everything right after they greet us. It is just simply beautiful. The feeling of being loved unconditionally and letting us know that what we mean to them- this feeling is just inexpressible.

It is usually considered for a dog guarding us from any unforeseen incidents but after having cat, I believe I have to admit that they too guard their humans. Before, I had a different opinion but now, my perceptions and assumptions have totally changed and you bet, it is for good! I always say and I have to admit that yes- cats do make a difference in our lives and they are no less than a dog.

-By the way, my Tiger loves to eat Dog Food🤣-

Calling To The Master

It is GOD who has created every little living being on this planet to serve Humans- may that be insects, plants and animals, as the verse quotes:

“It was HE who created all that is on the earth for you, then turned to the sky and made the seven heavens; it is HE who has knowledge of all things.” (Qur’an 2:29)

It was just today evening, that I was on a routine scroll in the garden where I saw Tiger looking up above the sky and “meowing”- as per my gaze, it was pitch dark with just the street lights on and all I could see was the huge blue sky up above. The sight was so mesmerizing that for few seconds I was lost in the beauty of our mother nature. We are moving in a very high pace that we often tend to forget the blessings that we are blessed with- each and every day. It is about even the tiniest thing that we can think of before going to bed. The moment made me think plenty of aspects of life, until Tiger “meowed” in another tone with a different frequency in his pitch, still staring at the blue sky. That very moment I realized that probably it is the conversation that he is making with his Master. The beautiful thing that I noticed was either he was making a prayer or may be trying to ask the purpose of his life in my house.

We all know that, every living thing on this planet actually makes a prayer. We all have to return one day and we all have to leave every luxurious things in life and go back to our Master empty handed. It is time that we all should start realizing the main purpose of our life and time.

Time keeps ticking- all we need to do is, to make our focus straight, count our blessings and be thankful for every little thing in our life.

Be Kind To Those Who Can Give Nothing In Return Except True Love

What is Love? Is it a feeling or an expression that we state to whoever we tend to find a bond with. We are so occupied in our lives that we don’t tend to see the positivity found even in little things around us.

To amuse ourselves, we often go shopping, eat out, hangout with a bunch of friends or attend a concert or something or the other- we are always finding happiness in one thing or the other. It is all about what we have set in our mind. Similarly, if we take a look at our life, we have school going children, senior citizens, working husband and wife and a domestic pet. Do we actually notice that the pet we have in our family is also a part of “happiness-love”. How many of us do realize that the pets are a blessing in the household, how many of us really treat them with dignity and shower endless love and care to them? How many of us? Do we realize that our pet actually is an alarm clock who wakes us up in the morning before time so we don’t run late to school/office, do we realize our pet starts missing us exactly 20minutes later when they feel that their owner has gone for long? They do miss us and they need us always.

The image above is the answer of all the questions stated. The moment this picture was taken- I was about to leave for my errand that my little baby Tiger held my hand and looked into my eyes straight as if he said “Don’t leave me”. This was such an adorable gesture by my cat, that left me startled and I didn’t leave him until he was fast asleep. If we come to think of it- animals are so adorable. They know if we are not feeling well or have any sort of illness- they sense it before we find out what’s wrong with us. This is called “Love-Pure Love” which we are blessed with.

The best feeling for any Pet Parent is to be blessed with unconditional love and that can be found by the pet you have in your own house. You don’t need to search for love as you are already loved by your furry whether you’re nice to them or not. Their love is unconditional and till end of time.

Love your pets and take care of them. Remember, they are a part of our life but for them we are their Life!

Leap Of Faith

  • I wasn’t a Cat person until I met Tiger, The Rescued Cat. All my teenage years I have been surrounded with beautiful number of dogs, varying in sizes and breed, never ever thought of having a cat because I always thought Cats don’t respond well like dogs -but I guess, I was wrong.
  • I learned that Cats communicate and the medium they choose is their Tail. When I rescued Tiger, at first I was a bit hesitant as he did not have any vaccinations done and too a stray cat, but gradually I had succeeded in gaining his trust on me. With time, I am able to understand a Cat’s behavior, specifically with “meow”. Yeah! I find it pretty interesting with my cat’s meowing. It is pretty cute to see how they make such sounds and look so cute altogether. It is just not the humans who have to put in their trust in animals, it is actually with mutual understanding between the human and the animal. Since I had the experience of being with dogs, dealing with Cat was not really difficult, but the point to realize is that my Kitty actually now depends on me!
  • My cat is not indoors. He goes out and comes back in. Majority of the time he stays inside but since he loves to stay outside, he does goes outside and rush back in because he has so many other cats who really end up fighting with him. Gradually, with time I realized that Tiger feels save when I am around. He would come outside seeing me strolling in the garden and sit on his favorite spot.
  • By sitting on this spot he gets the clear view to see his predators. Looking at him sitting like this with his ears all alert, I think to myself that how would have survived if I wasn’t here for him to help. I understand that Animals can defend themselves but once they get in a fight no one can save them! I am now more concerned about my Kitty because I got to know that cats if left unattended they can be defenseless!
  • Knowing that my kitty is only 8months, I really feel for him and his good health. Anyone of you can tell me the reason why the other cats are after him? What can I do to save my Kitty or make him brave enough?
  • Suggestions are welcome! Get in touch with me either comment or e-mail.
