As a child I have grown up with the teachings that a Horse, Dog, Dolphin are a man’s best friend. Like any other child, I also started reading more about Animals and their attributes and how they can be a Human’s friend when they don’t even speak our language. Until I had my own very first pet, I realised and my memory clicked that why it is said that a Dog can be a man’s best friend.

It is the nature, which teaches us how to treat animals, land, trees, fellow beings and all the living and non living thing on this planet. After Humans, it is the Animals that our Lord has told us to treat them with kindness and the for that one kindness we shall receive a reward. As per my religious teachings and my parents upbringing, I always dealt my pets with utmost devotion and care and never mistreated them. I would like to give an eg that how my dog saved my life. It was a Sunday afternoon about 8years ago, my was standing at an open area at my front yard of the house beside a ladder which was kept for my helper to clean the lights on the wall. I was just standing there idle that suddenly I was pushed by my dog onto the other side, as soon as I landed on the ground I heard a big bang and saw that the ladder fell, and My dog saved me from getting hurt. She knew it before hand that this ladder would fall that’s why she came running towards me and pushed me onto the safer side. This made me thank my dog million of times for saving my life.

Animals are adorable and should be treated with kindness not because it is told us to but also because they are living beings and deserve the same respect as we do!
