China is the world’s largest consumer of dog meat with 10 to 20 millions of dogs killed each year for their consumption.

Xingyi Danielle who lives in Singapore was visiting her father in China when she met with a horrific site. A group of men were selling live dogs wrapped in bags for meat. Xingyi’s father knew he couldn’t ignore the unbearable sight and acted quickly by paying $90 to the men to free the dog.

This man did something without even knowing what is he going to do next with the dog as his apartment doesn’t allows pets so the fact that he stopped and saved a life is really commendable.

The dog names as Doggo and is currently living in Xingyi’s father officer where he is creating a mess so they’re both finding him a permanent home. It is heart breaking to see that most people in China do not eat dog meat and yet millions of dogs are still treated cruelly and killed brutally for meat market.

Despite of raising voice against Yulin Festival held in China each year, it is still not being banned. We really need to do something about it. Like other Bills being passed, I am sure, this would end too!
