It is our bountiful duty to abide by what we have learned from our Holy Book and what our beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has taught, to be kind with the Animals.

People do but they are selective and at times they are indecisive, because they feel that they are only supposed to take care of the Animals they have at home or either which are referred to as Clean and Pure aka CAT.

It is a request, we Humans are no one to decide which Animal to help or not as it is out duty to fulfil and to take care of every being that is present on the land. Hence, you do your part and Almighty would reward you for your one kind act.
