It is right before our eyes that we witness Animal abuse on a daily basis and in various forms. Those who gather enough strength to speak up for the rights of the Animals are the ones who are bashed and not even heard that why are they even asking for mercy for the Animals.
In Asian Countries, usually Donkeys are used for transportation of goods and raw materials and these animals are the ones who are suffered a lot, and when I say A LOT- it means, there is more than I can explain what does the torture means. Donkeys are considered as one of the naive animal which has literally no sense of anything and their owners are worst than we can think about. Today afternoon, when I was returning home from doing errands, I witnessed a donkey cart parked at the parking lot, the donkey’s feet were burning due to the hot weather and was feeling so thirsty. I wasn’t able to help the poor donkey as I was stuck in the traffic on the opposite road. I don’t know why these cart owners, don’t realize that it is the donkey they own, which helps them with the daily bread and butter yet, they are so careless with their source of transportation and all they have an excuse of not having enough money. When I had approached one of the donkey cart owners, he simply replied me rudely with “they are animals and they don’t need any such care as our children, when they get sick, we leave them alone”. Now, when you teach them empathy, it is their crude reaction that why should they even listen to us, and above all, why do they need any help. That’s the bitter truth of life.
I want you all, to intervene with anything you have in hand, whether a water bottle, or something to eat for the animal. Itis us who can bring a change otherwise, majority of the people of the masses are the ones who are uneducated hence won’t understand the importance of Kindness, so, we are suppose to join hands and help the community to grow together by holding hands together, helping one another and all the living beings present on this land. It is for the betterment of ourselves and our coming generations.
