Friday Post: One Of A Rare Case

Every Friday since the weekend comes near, all the children in the neighborhood they run towards the park and play with their fellow friends. During the play time, it is usually noticed that children consider animals as their playing tool. Recently, in the nearby area I found a cute kitten at the side of the footpath, when I approached her, I noticed that she was tied to the tree’s trunk. Yes, a kitten tied to a tree trunk, when I untied her, all she wanted was pets, numerous never-ending pets and I was so taken back by this act that I couldn’t resist and got the kitten over to my house. The moment I stepped in, her mother was right outside the gate, seemed as if she followed me. Few minutes later when the mother cat realized that I am treating the kitten, she started to roll on the ground and meow me asking for pets.

I got done with her treatment and took the kitten and kept her outside where she was along with her mother. As I was about to walk by, I saw a child running towards the kitten and cat with a bowl of food. I approached him and asked him why was he running, he replied so innocently that “my friends tied the kitten to the tree as she was playing with our ball”. His tears fell down on the cheeks and it broke my heart that how this child amongst all was so concerned for the poor kitten. The best part was that he convinced his parents to keep the kitten and the cat at his home as their pet and without any hesitancy, the child picked the kitten and kept her in the box and the mother followed the child along, I watched and followed to check what is this child doing but to my surprise, he literally went inside with the box and told his mother to give a warm bath to the kitty and the Cat.

Since then, I am in touch with the family to see whether the Kitty and Mother Cat are doing well or not. It is really nice to see when parents give liberty to the decisions of their children to analyze and cross check themselves whether they would be able to take up the responsibility for the whole life or not because Animals are a Life Time Responsibility and they need the same attention as of your own children.
