“Say, ‘It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.’ Say, ‘It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.’” (Quran 67:23-24)

In this verse from the Quran, the importance of animals and the intricate creations of Allah (God) are highlighted. It emphasizes that God is the one who has created all living beings, including humans and animals, and has bestowed them with the ability to hear, see, and feel.

This verse encourages gratitude for the blessings that God has bestowed upon us, including the presence of animals. It reminds us of the diversity of life on Earth and how God has multiplied and spread His creations throughout the world.

In Islam, animals are considered to be part of God’s creation and are to be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was known for his love and care for animals and taught his followers to treat them with gentleness and mercy.

On Fridays, Muslims gather for the Jumu’ah (Friday) prayer, and this verse serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all living beings and the responsibility to care for and appreciate the animals that share our planet. It encourages believers to reflect on the blessings of God’s creation and to express gratitude for the diverse and wonderful world in which we live.
