Although their cuteness is timeless, but a kitten becomes a cat in a vanishingly short period. Did you know? Like many newborn wild animals, kittens are born blind, deaf and nearly helpless that they require their mother’s guidance to nurture them. In less than a month, kittens learn to see, hear and walk because of mother’s care.
When the Kittens turn into young Adults, the first noticeable difference is the teeth, that begins to appear around three weeks of age and continues till the fifth week. Also, their teeth are helpful for them as they not only use it for eating but also to remove knots if there are any and in little time, when they are growing into young adults, they start to clean themselves and imitate like their mother. Important factor is the time when these little kittens turn into the growing age of reproduction. The fact that we always suggest neutering, spay the Cats is because, as when they go into heat the female cats become pregnant only at six months of age. Male Kittens reach sexual maturity at the same age or older, but when they do, they are likely more larger than female kitten. As it is said, one cat can give birth to around 100 kittens and it’s not for sure, that all of the kittens survive, few only survive as some of them naturally disappear or are very weak to pass the early stage of birth.
Important Message: Always make sure that you kitten is five or six months old, healthy and active. Spraying and neutering not only keeps kittens from reproducing but also also prevents female cats from going to heat, which lowers the risk of mammary cancer and it also helps increase their life span.
