What’s The Difference Between Becoming A Human And Being A Human?

It was a Sunday morning, that after going through the newspaper, while sipping my cup of tea- a thought about being a Human struck my mind. Eventually, everyone of you would think the same, that what am I trying to explain.

The reason which made me write this post is, that since the time of our birth, we have been taught on becoming a knowledge-able person. Without knowing that in the rat race, it won’t be an easy task. Most of the people teach the righteous manners in their household of becoming a good Human along-with emphasizing to become a good student. To become a good student, it doesn’t really means to study day-night, become a book worm, stay indoors and around the books all the time. One should be devoted to books when in need, to have a healthy state of mind, one should know how to balance his/her education along-with other creative activities. As we grow wiser, with the passage of time we tend to take people and things for granted. We forget our teachings, moral values and kindness towards everything. We forget the purpose of being the superior entity. We take our superiority on another level by demeaning the other living being rights. It tears my heart to see little children on streets treating the stray animals with care. In this cold weather, the homeless people don’t have anything to cover themselves but from somewhere they try to get a sweater or a comfy mat for their stray to sleep on. I have also witnessed how the street kids give a bite of their own food to feed the poor puppy, why, just so his pet does not starves like him. Sometimes, children teach us something which we adults often forget.

We take years to teach our children the kindness towards every little being to thing, but it is something which we adults forget. I agree, there are certain things which we have to look out for and cannot take everything together, but at the same time, we need to focus on what our actions are talking. Because, action speaks louder than words.
