Good Morning everyone!

I have an important news to discuss with all the paw parent followers. You may spread the discussion in your friend circle too. It’s always good to share knowledge and spread a piece of information when needed.

Recently, one of my friend had shared about her dog who wasn’t eating food. Despite of telling her to take him to the Vet and keep an eye on him. All my advices went in vain, it seemed as if she was not bothered or didn’t like the fact of me intervening in her life. (I believe, anyone of you would have done the same- after all, people who have pets have a wider thought process!) My mind started to boggle and made me upset because, I get a bit concerned when it comes to animals. I agree, they are a responsibility but at the same time, it is us who accepts the Animal as a Pet, when taking them first time in our lives. Majority of the people let it go, if their pets stop eating food. Though it is the first step which should be alarming if the pet is not eating. One of the reason that everyone should be concerned about is, Health of the pet. Their attributes specially when it comes on the food. They also have their likes and dislikes in meals, just as we do. They wish to have chicken and a meat bowl most of the time. It is essential for the Pet Parents to be aware of what their pet has been consuming lately. It is upsetting at least for me, that people often mislead their Vets and/or friends whom they share the information of their pet. They have no idea, the misleading in the shared information can lead to disastrous situation for pet’s health and one’s guilt. Anyways, moving on to the discussion, I still kept on calling my friend and forced her to visit the Vet immediately, knowing that her pet dog has not been eating and drinking since 2days!! So, when she visited the Vet, they told her that their dog has fever and is dehydrated. Thank God, she got her dog treated from the same Vet that I had mentioned and now by the Grace of Lord, her pet dog is perfectly fine and back to his normal routine.

Later, she had thanked me for the advices and now keeps me in the loop whenever it comes to her Dog. It is not about who has helped or who knows more, it is all about being alert when in the time of need.
