Cynophilist is a technical term described for ‘Dog Lover’. A person who loves dogs specifically is known as Cynophilist, but usually the word Dog Lover is mostly used as this technical term is not very common. Similarly, people who love cats are referred as ‘Ailurophile‘ but these words are not commonly used so people find it difficult to relate.

The mentality of our society (referring to Asian Countries) having a dog or taking care of a dog or owning it is a BIG thing! And when the owner is a woman, then oh boy! It becomes an eye-popping statement *chuckles* I wouldn’t be surprised if you start giggling away with my statement above. My personal experience gives me the privilege to let out my voice to those ‘young ladies’ who owns beautiful majestic dogs from all over the world. It isn’t a wow factor anymore that a girl can own a dog, though it wasn’t earlier too but unfortunately, the girls weren’t given the rights or never were considered beyond their personality of just being a ‘girl’. I feel really happy when I see young teens and adults owning and raising their beautiful pets, training them and taking them to participate in the anxiously awaited Dog Shows. I tell you, that bond-is pure and undoubtedly infinite. There use to be a communication gap between the elders and children, there use to be a factor of discrimination between a Boy can do and A Girl can do list. Not, the all those myths, misconceptions and old stories are not anymore even considered. Girls are equally talented and have more potential to step up in any field of work.

I myself a Cynophilist/ Animal Advocate feel proud of myself that my more than a decade experience is pretty fantabulous to put a Full Stop to all those questions that were asked. Period
