While I was scrolling my social media app, I came across a heartbreaking video. A woman shared how she found a dog on the neighbor’s property. According to her findings, the neighbor had left with all their belongings and other animals. They left this poor little soul behind.

What I can not understand is, if all the belongings were taken along, why was the Dog abandoned? Animals once kept as pet, they become your family and we cannot abandon our family at any cost. It shocks me how people have the audacity to leave their pets behind. Even during situations like a flood, they evacuate themselves and their things. However, they leave their animals behind. Don’t they ever wonder what will happen to them? Those animals also have feelings, emotions, sentiments, how do pet owner shatters them? For me, to even think of leaving my pet behind can not be an option – never. So, for me to believe that people actually do, is beyond my imagination.

The woman sharing the video has made me think. Humans have proven themselves to be among the most careless beings on this land.
