Cats can indeed be affectionate towards pet dogs, especially when they are raised together or properly introduced. While cats are often thought of as independent animals, many develop strong bonds with dogs in the household. Their affection may show through gentle behaviors. They might rub against the dog, groom them, sleep close by, or follow them around.
