Have you ever come to think on the fact that what in literal meaning does Entertainment means? Does it means that the animals are to be considered as the sense of entertainment? Are you serious?

How can we think of entertaining ourselves by keeping an animal away from the wilderness and taming them to face an audience of around 200 people cheering in the circus? My heart boils down when I read the behind the scenes of how these animals are taken away from their mother at a young age and kept in captivity performing for humans and doing things which they are not suppose to because this is not what they are meant for. I, after watching a heartfelt documentary Blackfish- my heart sank, I was sleepless for nights. The thought of keeping a baby away from the mother when the baby needs her mother the most was so torturing for me and I was just amazed that how people can actually be a part of this excursion where animals are kept apart from their vicinity-family and are made to live in a small tank forever. It is so horrifying to believe that we humans have lost sanity, and would do anything to simply earn millions of dollars.

Over the years, I have developed a staunch attitude of speaking for animals. This is what mostly people think is pointless because they are not to be valued as such. But on the other hand, I see people working in such organizations where they urge people to boycott such Shows, Circus and all the entertainment that includes animals. I feel happy about it. If all of such people come together who think alike, it will definitely affect on others to do same, to think likewise. We don’t really have to move the mountains- all we need to do is, change our perception, thought process, think broadly and wisely.

We need to boycott such programs, excursions, zoos where the animals are neglected and forced to perform and become to what they are not suppose to be. They are animals and not a piece of entertainment.

They feel pain, they get hurt, just like us. They are living beings and deserve to live the way they are born to.
