The Rising Temperature

The temperature is the major cause for the fluctuating attributes in the animals. Therefore, it is a must act to keep a check on your pets at all times. Being situated in the South Asia, in the Country Pakistan where the sudden changes in the weather has caused health issues to humans and animals at the same time.

It is very much pressurized to the pet parents that, no matter whichever or however the situation is, always keep a certain check on your pet in order to provide first aid immediately. If you think, you are not aware enough to take care of your pet at that specific time, then please consult a Vet before opting any self approach. There are certain aspects which are needed to be considered under such circumstances:

1- Always keep your pet hydrated, let it be under the shade and a cool area, if it is pretty sunny and temperature is hot;

2- Your pet also has mood swings, unlike us we have the ability to talk and they have the ability to talk through their gestures- don’t avoid them;

3- If you think that your pet is not responding while you’re calling out to him- it should “ring a bell” to you;

4- There are certain period of time- where the weather immediately switches from cold breeze to warm breeze, make sure your pet is not being affected by the temperature;

5- If your pet acts as lethargic, take his temperature (if you are not able to reach to Vet);

6- Be responsive and vigilant towards your pet at the time of their ill-ness as, the situation flips within time.

This is often considered to be true that, no matter how much we share our piece of information, it all boils down to actual scenario. As being the owner of beautiful breeds of dogs, I have faced various challenges and been through a lot of experiences of Vets, Ill-ness, Immediate help, first- aid, etc and etc. So, all I would end up with is, do the best that you can to save your pet.

Do You Know How To Communicate With Your Pet?

This is one of the mysterious question that I am often asked by number of people I meet. May it be a dinner or a casual get together of a bunch of friends. At times- I really feel dumb answering the question, but do you know why?

The reason is, only those people would be able to understand who have had pets and know every attribute of communicating with them. I am often labeled as a Animal Whisperer’ and I really love it, the feeling of actually knowing the animal’s emotions and sentiments and then grasping it in our words is the real connection that I share with the animal. It is very amusing that even the animals have their tantrums, their attitudes and frolics just like humans do. They also feel happy, sad, emotional like us and they also feel pain, hurt just like we humans do. I would like to share a cute incident that I faced just recently. As you all know that I have rescued a cat and I have been taking care of him by all means. So it’s just about a day ago that, there are these another stray cats who have been wandering around and visiting my place for a nap and in search of my Cat to beat him up. One day- this another cat was in the garden and as usual I was out in the garden for a stroll. My rescued Cat saw me calling the other cat, the reason I was calling the other cat was to make him run away so that my cat can stay outside for a while and play around. But, who knew that in order to make that cat run away, my cat Tiger actually ignored me through out! How did I make out? Usually when I call my cat’s name- he comes running and answering me as if telling that ‘I am coming’. He literally ignored me that day- he didn’t come to me, usually he does, infact he loves to lie on my feet wherever I am and follows me like everywhere! He was so pissed off at me that it showed on his face.

That day I realized, no matter what happens, I am going to make sure that my cat feels the affection and care when in-front of other cats or pets. But, the thing is my cat Tiger is way too jealous of my dog Diesel. What to do about that?

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

Be Kind To Those Who Can Give Nothing In Return Except True Love

What is Love? Is it a feeling or an expression that we state to whoever we tend to find a bond with. We are so occupied in our lives that we don’t tend to see the positivity found even in little things around us.

To amuse ourselves, we often go shopping, eat out, hangout with a bunch of friends or attend a concert or something or the other- we are always finding happiness in one thing or the other. It is all about what we have set in our mind. Similarly, if we take a look at our life, we have school going children, senior citizens, working husband and wife and a domestic pet. Do we actually notice that the pet we have in our family is also a part of “happiness-love”. How many of us do realize that the pets are a blessing in the household, how many of us really treat them with dignity and shower endless love and care to them? How many of us? Do we realize that our pet actually is an alarm clock who wakes us up in the morning before time so we don’t run late to school/office, do we realize our pet starts missing us exactly 20minutes later when they feel that their owner has gone for long? They do miss us and they need us always.

The image above is the answer of all the questions stated. The moment this picture was taken- I was about to leave for my errand that my little baby Tiger held my hand and looked into my eyes straight as if he said “Don’t leave me”. This was such an adorable gesture by my cat, that left me startled and I didn’t leave him until he was fast asleep. If we come to think of it- animals are so adorable. They know if we are not feeling well or have any sort of illness- they sense it before we find out what’s wrong with us. This is called “Love-Pure Love” which we are blessed with.

The best feeling for any Pet Parent is to be blessed with unconditional love and that can be found by the pet you have in your own house. You don’t need to search for love as you are already loved by your furry whether you’re nice to them or not. Their love is unconditional and till end of time.

Love your pets and take care of them. Remember, they are a part of our life but for them we are their Life!

Leap Of Faith

  • I wasn’t a Cat person until I met Tiger, The Rescued Cat. All my teenage years I have been surrounded with beautiful number of dogs, varying in sizes and breed, never ever thought of having a cat because I always thought Cats don’t respond well like dogs -but I guess, I was wrong.
  • I learned that Cats communicate and the medium they choose is their Tail. When I rescued Tiger, at first I was a bit hesitant as he did not have any vaccinations done and too a stray cat, but gradually I had succeeded in gaining his trust on me. With time, I am able to understand a Cat’s behavior, specifically with “meow”. Yeah! I find it pretty interesting with my cat’s meowing. It is pretty cute to see how they make such sounds and look so cute altogether. It is just not the humans who have to put in their trust in animals, it is actually with mutual understanding between the human and the animal. Since I had the experience of being with dogs, dealing with Cat was not really difficult, but the point to realize is that my Kitty actually now depends on me!
  • My cat is not indoors. He goes out and comes back in. Majority of the time he stays inside but since he loves to stay outside, he does goes outside and rush back in because he has so many other cats who really end up fighting with him. Gradually, with time I realized that Tiger feels save when I am around. He would come outside seeing me strolling in the garden and sit on his favorite spot.
  • By sitting on this spot he gets the clear view to see his predators. Looking at him sitting like this with his ears all alert, I think to myself that how would have survived if I wasn’t here for him to help. I understand that Animals can defend themselves but once they get in a fight no one can save them! I am now more concerned about my Kitty because I got to know that cats if left unattended they can be defenseless!
  • Knowing that my kitty is only 8months, I really feel for him and his good health. Anyone of you can tell me the reason why the other cats are after him? What can I do to save my Kitty or make him brave enough?
  • Suggestions are welcome! Get in touch with me either comment or e-mail.
  • Tore Apart Deep Inside

    Every morning I wake up get done with my routine chores and at last hold on to my phone. As soon as I scroll my social media, I see various shares of inhumane act on a poor animal. As I continue scrolling, the more the stories pops up and the more I began to read- I feel devastated by the word “HUMAN”.

    With a heavy heart I am writing this post because I feel that it is time that We should start within ourselves- move away from our comfort zone and basically start DOING IT, bringing change for our animals of the society. Despite of various petitions, blogs, animal rights activists- where are we still standing? I am asking all those people who are reading my blog, Can you answer my question? Yes, I know- majority of the people out of the box would say Humans are the top priority and it is just an animal that the blogger is talking about. Yes! I have come up with numerous comments of people where they just say “Forget Animals, Humans are important”. Can anyone answer my question that “GOD created Humans, Animals and all living beings together. Did HE forgot the rights of an Animal?” No, HE didn’t in-fact he created examples for uneducated humans on earth living in 21st Century that we need to take care of each and every blessing that has been bestowed upon us by our LORD. When HE didn’t harm any animal then HE expects humans to treat his creation with care also!

    Every time I keep telling myself that there will be a change in the world of Animals where they will have the right to live freely without someone hunting them down, stoning to death or using for entertainment. I just wish that there will be a day, in which every soul on this planet will be at ease without any pain!

    I try not to share sad stories but this is life. Life is all about a roller coaster- there are ups and downs and only way to keep yourself going is by doing good to people around you and the ones depended upon you- Your Pets!

    I urge all the people to raise voice against any sort of animal abuse or cruelty. If you see or know anyone in your circle or your neighborhood hurts or abuses an animal- report immediately! You never know how much blessings you shall be given in return in order to save one animal.
